On March 23, 2020, The Village Girl Foundation made significant donations to the Nsawam Female Prisons and the Eye of the Lord Orphanage at Nsawam Adoagyiri to support health and combat the coronavirus pandemic.
Nsawam Female Prisons:
- Antibiotic drugs
- Hand sanitizers
- Veronica buckets
- Hand gloves
- Sanitary pads
- Antiseptic soaps
- Dettol
- Toothpaste and brushes
- Towels and sponges
Eye of the Lord Orphanage:
- 10 metallic bunk beds
- 20 mattresses and pillows
- Hand sanitizers
- Hand gloves
- Food items
These donations were received by the Director of the Female Prison, DDP. Joan Tekyi Otu, and aimed to support inmates and orphans during challenging times.
