On July 23, 2019, The Village Girl Foundation commissioned the renovated Takrowase Health Centre to serve the Takrowase community and neighboring towns. The renovation included:
- Building toilet and shower facilities for the ward and OPD
- Installing air conditioners and new ceiling fans
- Re-wiring the entire building
- Painting the health centre
- Constructing new shower and toilet facilities for nurses
The centre was officially commissioned by Osabarima Owusu Nketia I, Akyem Takrowasehene.
